Haryana is the state in the north India. The state capital is Chandigarh, which is administered separately as a Union Territory because it is also the capital of Punjab. The name Haryana means the Abode of God from Sanskrit Hari (the Hindu God Vishnu) and ayana (home), although it may also refer to the lush green landscape of the state. The main cities includes Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Kurukshetra, Rohtak etc.
Ambala:-

The city is believed to have been founded during ancient times of Mahabharata by king Karna, a mythological hero in the epic tale. It is located on the National Highway 1 and is about three hours drive from Delhi.
Kurukshetra:-
Kurukshetra is a district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is a holy place and is also known as Dharmakshetra (“Holy Cityâ€). According to the Puranas, Kurukshetra is named after King Kuru, the ancestor of Kauravas and Pandavas, as depicted in epic Mahabharata. The meaning of the word `Kurukshetra` is the land of the Kauravas.
Panchkula:-
Panchkula district has a sub tropical continental monsoon climate having, hot summers, cool winters, good monsoon rainfall. It has great variation in temperature (-1 °C to 43 °C). Sometimes winter frost occurs during December and January.
